Hidden Treasure

Do you ever find things hidden away in strange places? I just did.

I was rooting about in my wool stash so I could give Anna from The Dusty Attic a few bits of wool to go with the crochet hooks she won in last months giveaway, when look what I found....

Can you see it?  Look closely....

There, all folded up, nestling comfortably in the bed of double knit, I discovered a ten pound note!

Now, the question is, how on earth did that get in there?  How long has it been there, and is it 'finders keepers'?

Well, of course it is, who else would drop money in my wool box except me?

The second question of the day is what should I do with it?

Here are some options, the one with the most votes wins:
  • Buy wine.
  • Give to charity.
  • Buy wool.
  • Buy any other crafty thing.
  • Lend to my daughter.
  • Put petrol in the car.
  • Hide it back in the wool box in the hope that I will forget about it and get excited all over again.

Money, money, money, .... must be funny, in a rich man's world.

Bet I have given you all an ear worm now haven't I?  You will be humming/singing/whistling it for the rest of the day.  You're welcome.

An earworm is a catchy piece of music that continually repeats through a person's mind after it is no longer playing.
